The 100 Year Lie
I recommend reading this book. I'm reading it right now. It's sobering. What a toxic world we live in. One needs to be really aware what goes in their mouth.
All of the meat centered eating is going to catch up with us from the outside in and the inside out.
I think of all the pain that is inflicted upon sentient creatures for the sake of cheap meat. Not only that, but what does it do to the folks who have to work there? There are quite a few books out there and of all of them..this one is right up near the top of the list. I'm not finished with it just yet, but just being a 1/3 rd of the way through is far enough for me to say I've learned.
It's not expensive. It's a paperback.
